Mercuron aan het werk
How we work

Fully taken care of,
from first conversation to aftercare

A coverage project is more complex than it seems. There are measurements, engineering decisions, permit files, operator coordination and a validated handover. Mercuron manages every aspect — you don't have to get involved yourself.

Our process in six steps

Every project follows the same careful approach. No step is skipped — that's how quality stays guaranteed.

1

Intake & problem analysis

Step 1

We start with a conversation to understand your situation. Which zones are problematic? Which networks need to work? Are there safety obligations? Based on this we determine the approach.

  • Inventory of requirements and expectations
  • First estimate of the scope
  • Determining the right system type
2

Site survey & RF measurement

Step 2

A technician visits the building and performs a thorough signal analysis. We measure the incoming signal per zone, identify dead zones and analyse structural obstacles.

  • Coverage measurement per floor and zone
  • Analysis of building materials and structure
  • Report with heatmap of the current situation
3

RF engineering & system design

Step 3

Based on the measurements we design the optimal system. Antenna placement, cable routing, choice of amplifiers and splitters — everything calculated for maximum coverage with minimal infrastructure.

  • Technical design on plan
  • Material selection and budget
  • Optimisation for future expansions
4

File preparation & coordination

Step 4

For ASTRID projects we prepare the IBZ file and follow up on the approval procedure. For GSM systems we coordinate with the operators involved where needed.

  • IBZ file for ASTRID projects
  • Operator coordination for shared access
  • Administrative follow-up
5

Installation & commissioning

Step 5

Our certified technicians carry out the installation. Discreet, professional and in line with the approved design. A first functional test follows after installation.

  • Cable routing and antenna placement
  • System configuration and integration
  • Functional check after installation
6

Validation, handover & aftercare

Step 6

After installation we perform an official coverage measurement and draw up a QoS report. You receive full as-built documentation. Afterwards we remain available for maintenance and questions.

  • Official measurement and QoS report
  • As-built plans and technical documentation
  • Aftercare and one point of contact for support

Why one partner makes the difference

Many installers place equipment. Few understand the full journey — from RF analysis over IBZ files to validated handover with an official measurement report.

Mercuron is that single point of contact. We are not a hardware reseller, but a specialised partner that fully manages the technical and administrative process.

That means: you don't need to talk to three parties, compile the file yourself, or know which standard applies. We do that.

RF expertise

We understand the technology — from frequency planning to antenna engineering.

IBZ file expertise

We know the ASTRID procedure inside out.

Certified installers

Our technicians work in accordance with all applicable standards.

One point of contact

From first conversation to aftercare: no passing you on to third parties.
